    European batteries follow the DIN standard (Deutsche Industrie Norm) which establishes the size and layout of the terminals. The terminals are usually European-type with the reverse polarity (positive on the left and negative on the right).

  2. Asian Terminals (JIS Standard)
    In Asia, the batteries are manufactured under the JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) where the terminals are usually shaped as follows page and are oriented differently from those of European batteries.

  2. Asian batteries Asian batteries, on the other hand, tend to be more compact and have dimensions smaller adapting to more modern and sporty vehicles.
