June 2022, VT BATTERIES<\/strong> carried out an intense business tour, visiting three key centers to consolidate its international presence: Miami (United States)<\/strong>, San Salvador (El Salvador)<\/strong> y Bogot\u00e1 (Colombia)<\/strong>.<\/p>

Miami (United States)<\/strong><\/h4>

The tour kicked off in Miami with a key meeting with GLOBAL OE<\/strong>licensee of the trademark Lucas<\/strong> The objective was to formalize a collaboration agreement so that the U.S. battery industry could VT BATTERIES<\/strong> become a sublicensee of the trademark Lucas<\/strong> in the U.S. market. This agreement marks a strategic turning point, consolidating VT as a key player in the US market, one of the most important worldwide. With a significant growth projection, VT is positioning itself in key areas such as AGM and marine batteries.<\/p>

Miguel \u00c1lvarez, VT's commercial director, highlighted the importance of this agreement, noting that \"we are consolidating one of the main markets for the VT brand. Lucas<\/strong>backed by ZF International<\/strong>\". The participation of VT BATTERIES in the international fair was also confirmed. AAPEX<\/strong>which will be held in Las Vegas in November 2022, along with its partner Willard Batteries<\/strong> of Colombia. AAPEX is the main event of the automotive industry, with a business volume of more than 1.6 billion dollars<\/strong>.<\/p>

San Salvador (El Salvador)<\/strong><\/h4>

The second stop was at El Salvador<\/strong>where VT BATTERIES met with Excel Automotive<\/strong>a company with presence in Central America<\/strong>. During the meeting, it was discussed the possibility that Excel Automotive<\/strong> to become a distributor.<\/p>

VT BATTERIES<\/strong>in collaboration with WGS<\/strong>has launched a business for the commercialization of lead traction batteries<\/strong>The project is aimed at sectors such as forklifts, platforms and other industrial applications. In this project, PEL\u00c1EZ HERMANOS<\/strong> becomes a strategic partner, with four main lines of action:<\/p>

  1. Battery sales<\/strong><\/li>
  2. Technical assistance and maintenance<\/strong><\/li>
  3. Battery rental<\/strong><\/li>
  4. Lead residue recovery<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>

    To ensure the success of the project, a monitoring committee has been formed, and the preliminary results of the market study are expected in September, which will mark the start of operations.<\/p>

    In addition, at the same meeting, other aspects of commercial collaboration were discussed with WILLARD BATTERIES<\/strong> y VT BATTERIES<\/strong>such as the joint participation in the fair AAPEX<\/strong> and the presence in Automechanika Frankfurt<\/strong> (September 2022) and Automechanika Dubai<\/strong> (November 2022). The development of the EXTREME range<\/strong> in Europe.<\/p>
