VT Batteriesas part of its international growth strategy, has consolidated its network with the creation of the new company VT Austral.  With this important step, VT Batteries reaffirms the commitment to international expansion and the satisfaction of our customers in new high potential markets such as those included in Africa, Indian Ocean islands and Oceania. These markets have great growth potential and VT Batteries wants to be part of this growth.

VT Austral, based in Grand Baie (Mauritius), will be the company that will coordinate all the actions; in line with the same strategy, a subsidiary company has been created for the most important market, called VT South Africa, based in Johannesburg (SOUTH AFRICA). South African and Spanish partners also participate in these companies, completing the share capital of the new companies. The company is managed by Darin Mac Allister, a professional with more than 20 years of experience in the automotive sector.

Our new company will be dedicated to the distribution of:

• South Africa: Angola, Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
• East Africa: Burundi, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda.
• Central Africa: Cameroon, Congo DR, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Ghana and Nigeria.
• Indian Ocean Islands: Comoros, Madagascar, Maldives, Mauritius, Mauritius, Mayotte, Reunion and Seychelles
